How do I sign up for a Cooking Class?

 

Easy! You go to our Cooking Classes Page HERE, choose a class (or more!) you're interested in, and put them in your shopping cart. Then, when you're ready to checkout, follow the instructions for entering your credit card information. Once you've gone through with the purchase, you're registered!

 

 

 

What if I have to cancel my class registration but I already paid for it?

 

• If you are unable to attend your class, please inform us at least 48 hours in advance.

• If you inform us with 48 hours+ notice, the class fee is transferable to another available class of your choice on the schedule.

• If you cancel within 48 hours, 50% will be assessed on your credit card.

• If you don't show for your class, the full class fee will be assessed on your credit card.

 

 

I want to give a Cooking Class as a gift to a friend, but I don't know which one they would like!

 

You can purchase Cooking Class Gift Certificates HERE. They can redeem that for any class they choose, and they don't expire!

 

 

 

When does my cooking class gift certificate expire?

 

Never! 

 

 

 

I have a Sorrentino's gift card. Can I use that for a cooking class?

 

No. Our cooking class certificates and restaurant gift cards are not interchangeable. 

 

 

 

Where are the cooking classes held?

 

Our classes are held at our corporate kitchen at 10665 109 Street, Edmonton, Alberta. 

 

 

 

Is there parking?

 

​Yes! There is free parking on the south side of the building. 

 

 

 

Which entrance do I use to get to my cooking class?

 

Enter through the Caffè doors at the corner of the 109 St and 107 Ave intersection.

 

 

 

What time is my cooking class?

 

Most classes begin at 6pm, but on the weekends they are sometimes at noon. Double check your confirmation email to find out what time your class begins.

 

 

 

Do I need to bring anything?

 

If you registered for your class using a Gift Certificate, please bring in the certificate itself as a proof of purchase. 

 

 

 

Are the classes hands on?

 

Our cooking classes are hands-on. Prepare to put on an apron and get your hands dirty under the instruction of a Sorrentino's Chef!

 

 

 

What should I wear?

 

The kitchen does get quite warm so please dress accordingly. Also, make sure you wesar comfortable footwear as you will be on your feet most of the time!

 

 

 

I want to take a cooking class, but I can't eat something on the menu. Is it possible to substitute?

 

We do our very best to accommodate food allergies, sensitivities and other dietary restrictions. When registering for a class, there will be an option to enter in restriction, allergies etc, and from there we will do our best to accommodate. 

 

 

 

Do you have a lost and found?

 

Call 780.474.6466 if you lost something during the class and we might have it. 

 

 

 

What is the minimum number of people needed for group/corporate cooking classes?

 

Typically a minimum of 10 is needed. 

 

 

 

What's the minimum age required to take a cooking class?

 

18.

 

 

 

Do you have kids classes?

 

We do have kids classes twice a month for kids between the ages of 10-14.
